All for Love

 

 

The underlying concerns of my practice are issues of control, or rather, lack of control.

I am also interested in the dichotomies of cute and fluffy versus those of violence and death, the veneer of chocolate-box niceness and denial of reality.

I am exploring ways of subverting the kitsch element, particularly by use of the abject.

My work All for Love, within the series Herding Cats, focusses
specifically on wildness/tameness and domestication.
